In August 2016, the Critical Listening Environment for Audio Research (C.L.E.A.R.) Laboratory was installed at IUPUI. Dr. Doug worked with Carl Tatz, a studio installation expert from Nashville, to create the state-of-the art listening space. The C.L.E.A.R. Lab is composed of a PhantomFocus MixRoom™ featuring the new PFS 3200 Ultra High Definition - Precision Monitoring Instruments with beryllium tweeters and the THUD™ - Pistonic Chamber-Damped Subwoofer System. The lab was made possible by grant funding awarded to Dr. Doug through IUPUI Learning Environments Grants. The video below shows the building process.
